“ Great atmosphere, the place just looks classy. Friendly staff, our server was very attentive and helped with everything we needed. Great wood fired pizza, i had the Bianco Verde Pizza that has plenty of goat cheese and pesto. Everyone who had the roast pork sandwich loved it too. I liked the beer selection. I would like to see some beer from the local Animated Brewery. Right through the corridor in the center of the dining area, you can walk right to the axe throwing area. Parking in the rear may be more convenient that 30. ”
“ This place is absolutely beautiful and the food is even better. I love the theme and how the owners honored the history of the building. The Record is something special. ... ”
“ Absolute treat!!! The food was deliciously. My drink of choice for the night was the hot take! Delicious I would recommend this place at any given time to anybody. I am so happy and proud to say that this was in my hometown. ”
“ I really enjoyed my time at the record. The service was great, and the food delicious. I had the sticky ribs, and pepperoni pizza. The ribs were flavored with sweet crispy onion and honey, very good! The pizza is thin crust brick oven, loved it! ”
“ What a terrific new restaurant, bar & grill in the heart of Coatesville, PA, located in the old The Daily Record Building and next to an Axe-throwing place (which shares the Record Bar & Grill's food and bar service). Street parking so bring plenty of quarters, unless Sunday. ”
“ Decided to try The Record for my 30th Birthday dinner and it did not disappoint!!! The pizza and pasta were both amazing. We got the Cippola wood fire pizza and the flavor combo was on point, my only suggestion would be that the bacon needed to be crispier and the pizza itself could of been cooked an extra 5 mins and it would of been perfect but overall everything was great!! Drinks were pricey (13 for a glass of wine) so be prepared to treat yourself They were EXTREMELY busy and our waiter mentioned they were turning people away who didn’t have a reservation so I highly suggest making a reservation in advance on a Friday/Saturday night (I made mine two days in advance and it was easy to do online which I preferred instead of calling) The decor and ambience were beautiful - loved the open brick wall and the old record newspaper decoration was a great touch!! It did not feel like I was in the middle of coatesville at all, felt like I was in a hip new place in Manayunk :) My new favorite spot close to home ”
“ Visited for the first time during the last First Friday of the year. How fantastic to have such a beautiful space and amazing food in downtown Coatesville. Get the ribs!!! Food and service was excellent. Can't wait to go back to try other menu items. ”
“ This place was such a joy the staff are very sweet and helpful and gave us good advice on what to get. The food was delicious and filling. The setting is very clean and beautiful. They have a perfect brick oven I totally suggest coming here if you’re a local or just passing by. ”
